Body Size IGSF1 "Bulky Gene"

Test Overview:

The insulin-like growth factor-1 gene (IGF1), and additional studies of Miniature Poodles and Dachshunds implicated the IGF1 receptor (IGF1R) as well, both of which are important regulators of body size. The IGF1 pathway has also been established as important in normal stature in humans, and mutations in IGF1 have been shown to reduce body size in mice.
