A DNA Profile—also known as a DNA Fingerprint or Unique Identity Profile—is your dog’s permanent genetic ID. It’s unique to each dog, stays the same for life, and is the gold-standard foundation for accurate parentage verification and trusted breeding records.

Orivet’s Premium SNP DNA Profile is produced under ISAG 2020 guidelines, analysing over 230 SNP markers to generate an internationally comparable profile with >99.99% reliability. Every profile is securely stored in the Orivet DNA database, making future parentage checks faster and simpler.

What it’s used for

• Parentage verification: Confirm parentage for routine matings, external stud services, and complex scenarios such as multi-sire litters.
• One-time test, lifetime value: Ideal for any breeding dog to protect pedigree integrity and reduce disputes.

For selected breeds (available on request), this profile may also help resolve certain single-parent cases. You’ll also receive a complimentary genetic diversity/heterozygosity summary to better understand your dog’s genetic variation.
